Expression of Interest to appoint consultant for the construction of Ganga Water supply scheme (Phase-II) |

Ghaziabad Development Authority, Ghaziabad invites “Expression of Interest” (EOI) from reputed consultant for expert monitoring, quality control and third party checking of the Ganga Water Supply Scheme (Phase-II) project during construction in various colonies of Ghaziabad Development Authority, Ghaziabad (U.P). The applicant should have the following qualifications:-

1- Experience in monitoring, technical advice and quality control of various capacities RCC under ground reservoirs/Pump houses including erection and commissioning of submersible pumps and other equipments. The consultant should preferably have experience of supervision of laying and testing of various diameter GRP (Glen Fiber reinforced plastic) pipes conforming to IS 12709 : 1994 stiffness class-B 124/248 kPa for potable water supply schemes, including laying and commissioning of various diameter D.I /C.I pipes.

The consultant should have on its penal at least one working/ retired professor of IIT or any expert of teaching institute of eminence having experience of large water supply schemes, execution and successful commissioning. The consultant should have fully equipped trained technical staff to extend its services on as and when required.

The rates of consultancy should be quoted percentage vise for various construction work up to commissioning of Ganga water supply scheme, including testing in laboratory of various civil construction materials used during construction of project including any mechanical/electrical equipments, pipes, valves etc. as and when required. |

The offer should be accompanied by an earnest money amounting to Rs.0.50 lac (Fifty thousand rupees only) in form of F.D.R. of a nationalised /scheduled bank and pledged in favour of the Executive Engineer, Ghaziabad Development Authority, Ghaziabad.Offers in two envelopes (Envelope-A for Technical Bid with earnest money and Envelope-B for Financial Bid) shall be received on 09-09-09 up to 3-00 pm in the office of the undersigned. The Financial bids of the firms who are found eligible shall be opened as and when communicated by the G.D.A. |
